Off Tap Metal Fabrication is a family-run metal fabrication business in Ipswich, Queensland. We specialise in both custom and general fabrication with a focus on quality, precision and speed.

Where we work
Serving Ipswich & Brisbane
Ipswich is home — most of our work comes from trades, tourers and small manufacturers around the city. Brisbane customers are a regular part of the shop too: Turley Street is about 40 minutes from the CBD down the Ipswich Motorway, and 15–25 minutes from Brisbane's western suburbs.
All fabrication happens at the workshop — we don't do mobile or on-site work.

What is metal fabrication?
Metal fabrication is the process of turning raw sheet, plate and section into a finished part or structure by cutting, folding, machining and welding it. Off Tap Metal Fabrication does this from a fixed workshop in Ipswich QLD, working from your DXF, DWG or IPT file, a drawing, or a sketch.
Where is your workshop?
Our workshop is at Unit 5/13 Turley Street, Ipswich QLD 4305. We're open Monday to Thursday 7:00am–3:00pm, Friday 7:00am–12:00pm, and Saturday by appointment. All work is done there — we don't offer mobile or on-site fabrication.
Do you make custom one-off jobs?
Yes. A single bracket, a one-off fire pit or a full ute fitout are all normal work for us. Send a drawing, a photo or a sketch and we'll quote it — there's no minimum order.
Do you take work from Brisbane?
Yes. We regularly build ute trays, canopies, fire pits and steel fabrication for Brisbane customers. The work is done at the Ipswich workshop, about 40 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and far less from Brisbane's western suburbs.
